Coaching Feedback and MAJOR TAKEAWAYS FROM THIS WEEK’S COACHING SESSION

How did today’s session go for you?

As your coach, I’m committed to being accountable to you. The more I know about your experiences and perspectives in coaching, the more I can help you, and ultimately the better your results will be.

As the client, commit to being accountable to yourself. That means checking in and speaking up to ask for what you want and need, and communicate what you’re observing.

Please be honest. I won’t be offended or upset by anything you share. I really want to know if you feel that you aren’t being understood or helped, or if there’s something you want to do differently.

Life is always teaching us lessons. The only question is:

Are we paying attention to those lessons and learning from them as we move forward?

Invest just 5 minutes right now and get even more out of your coaching session. Fill out the questionnaire below and submit it to me while the experience is still fresh in your mind.

Day #148 Heart Health Tips & Support After my he Day #148 Heart Health Tips & Support

After my heart attack I was afraid to leave the house.

The fear that something may happen while I'm away was so debilitating that I slowly retracted inward.

My world shrank and so did my soul.

I survived brutul wars, immigration to a new country, divorce, multiple accidents, 27 broken bones, an elective amputation and several other tidbits life has offered me along the way.

But the heart attack, that invisible punch to my heart was the hardest.

It came out of nowhere and hit so strong that it stripped away everything I held dear too.

My trust in life, my manhood, my identity, my place as a father, as a husband, as a businessman. All were gone in a fraction of a second.

It took me over a decade and three near death experiences to learn how to recover and rebuild my life, my body and my soul.

These days, when I speak with fellow men I see many similarties with how they experience this pandemic, especially if their heart health is already compromised or God forbid they had a heart attack or struggle with heart disease.

The fear is real, the unknown is mortifying and the end result is a small fearful life.

It doesn't have to be that way.

Today I'm healthy, off medication, joyous and grateful to be around with my family, creating memories together.

This picture was taken several days ago on a snowshoeing hike with my amazing family.
The fear is gone, the dark cloud of uncertainty is tamed and my heart is full of joy and love.

If you, or someone you know is going through a similar challenge, I invite you to reach out to me and learn what's possible for you.
