You sit down to meditate, all nice and cozy ready for some enlightened sage advise to be channelled through
And then it starts…
“What in the world is wrong with me?”
“Where are the answers”
“Why can’t I be happy with what I have”
“Have I gone nuts or has the world gone crazy”
“There’s something missing, I can feel it in my bones”
As you white knuckle your way through the session and come back to reality another set of mind chatter arises:
“Is my mind a hopeless squirrel cage?”
“Is everybody confused, or is it just me?”
“Does God knows what his doing?”
“Is there a God?”
And then the big question (the one I shared with you last Friday floats to the surface:
“Does anybody know the answers? Is there a secret sauce? a magic formula? or maybe an ancient blueprint that can unlock the code to the holy grail of success and personal fulfillment?
Don’t worry – everybody’s desperate, everybody’s confused.
Some seem cool about it. “I don’t understand what all the fuss is about…” they say. “Life seems simple to me”. Ya, sure it is, they are so scared they can’t even look at it!
And then there’re the experts, the gurus, the ‘influencers’ who claim to have it all figured out.
Stay with me here, don’t wander off to squirrel land just yet…
Their confusion is more sophisticated.
Wrapped in impressive jargon and elaborate mental constructions and practices. They tell you that all you need to do is join their ‘club’, follow their way, trust the process and that which you seek shall be received. You just need to be ready…
And here’s the crux of it all: the solution to any problem seems to bring only brief relief, for it is the beginning of the next problem.
This never-ending cycle is called being human. And being human is supercalifragilisticexpialidocious! (hint)
“So, Erez, is there an answer, a path, a solution to all this?”
Well, my friend, the answer is yes.
What I can tell you right now is that it’s not wrapped in mysterious symbols or esoteric practices.
There’s no black (or white) magic, witchcraft or sorcery involved.
You don’t need to join a club, a movement, a religion or a spiritual clan.
The path to these answers doesn’t depend on any outer circumstance or personal characteristics. It does not require belief in any religious philosophy and no single group or system owns it.
It’s free and available to those brave enough to embark on the journey.
If this is of interest, hold on and keep an eye on your inbox because next Friday we’ll take the first step.
(Yes, I know I’m teasing, but hey, now you’re hooked :-))
Erez, teasing you for a good reason, Avramov
See you next Friday
